The Video Ad Serving Template (VAST) is an open standard, which means anyone can make a player or SDK that is VAST-compliant. Google's IMA SDK handles VAST ad responses from any standard, industry-compliant video ad server. Some of the supported benefits to using the IMA SDK are shown here.
If you use JWPlayer or other player solution that is compatible with VAST you will not have any issue deploying MediaFem video ads.
JW Player's advertising features allow you to monetize your content with video ads. JW Player supports ads that are compliant with two of the leading ad frameworks — IAB's VAST 4.0 and VPAID 2.0 as well as ads that are managed with Google's Interactive Media Ads SDK. For more information about how to deploy Mediafem ads using JW Player please click here.
To begin monetizing content all that is needed is a valid ad tag from MediaFem and a Player that has advertising turned on.
If your account is new ads could take up to 24 hours to be displayed, after that period of time if you are still facing issues please contact us or open a ticket here.
Testing your video tag
We strongly recommend testing our video tag using one of the following VAST inspectors:
VAST inspector from Google - https://developers.google.com/interactive-media-ads/docs/sdks/html5/vastinspector
Ad tester from JW Player - https://developer.jwplayer.com/tools/ad-tester/
You can test our tag in any VAST/VPAID inspector, please verify that it works as expected.
